About Shuttle Hill
In 1813, William and Grezel Wood made the arduous journey from Carlisle to Muncy, Pennsylvania to begin life on the farm they had recently purchased. A few months later William died, but Reel persevered and almost 200 years later, members of the Wood family still live in the same brick home that her son constructed in1861.
